I want my flowers while I can still smell them!!!

We ALL share significant people in our lives, rather that be mom, dad your sister, brother, your kids, or your friends, there’s a good chance that you’ll say “I love you” or “I appreciate you” at some point, Right? You care for them and no matter what; you would do anything for them.

However, showing LOVE is a little different from saying it.

Remember, an action speaks louder than words, especially when they’re performed in the name of love. It shows people we truly care, without saying a word.

Learn ways to show love and appreciation those around you…DAILY!

Now back to the topic: “Fresh Flowers” I don’t know about you all, but I want mines while I can still smell um!

I mean, all flowers are respectful and beautiful at funerals but flowers cannot truly be appreciated when loved ones are no longer with us. Right? So, we must appreciate and show love NOW!!!

This may be your next question…So how do we do that? Some people have the notion of thinking…people around me should just automatically know I love them. Wrong! Actions speaking louder then words is still a true quote.

Try these 7 things…

1. Love yourself: First things first, ya gotta love yourself before you even see the need to show love to others.

2. Smile: A smile can change the reaction of a passerby and promote kindness and friendship to other around us. A smile can also change to course of someone’s entire day. Try it, it really works!

3. Have Compassion: Show others you care by helping a friend in need. That can be shown by words of kindness or an actual sacrifice to be there for them.

4. Be Encouraging: Uplift someone’s spirits, give a compliment or two, build someone up to live their dreams.

5. Give a hug: A hug is thee most universal act of showing love, make it a practice.

6. Share your truest self with others: I call it the mask free zone. Many times we don’t show the truest form of our personalities to people. We put on airs, fake and maybe a little hypocritical. Letting people in on your true self shows love in the most highest of humility. Phony ain’t true love.

7. Trusting: In this day and age, let’s face it, with the way the world is, it can seem like a place where people are more wrong then right. Showing love to ourselves and others is giving people a chance before judging them. A friend, a very wise young man once quoted “I’m your friend tell the end until you disqualify you own self as such”. What he meant is that, if a person has not shown signs of NOT being a friend or a good person, time will show their true colors. Until that day comes and hopefully NEVER…give people a chance.

Showing love is not a hard thing to do, remember the little things are what really matters. When someone knows that you’ve thought of them or acknowledged them may make a world of difference in the way there day turns out. Most ppl just want to be appreciated for who they are! Give Fresh flowers to the ones you love while they are here to appreciate the gesture. Fresh Flowers is simple a metaphor for giving of yourself.
