Momma cooked and cleaned
And made sure I was fine,
She gave up so much
All the time.
She stood for me
Like no one else,
She did for me before
She did for herself.
She talked to me
And taught me well,
She gave of herself
So I’d prevail.

Then she gave me space to
On my own learn the rest.
